Shahre Farang (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://shahrefarang.live and related streaming applications on Roku, Samsung Smart TV, Chromecast, and other connected-TV platforms. Our goal is to provide free, ad-supported access to Persian-language films, series, and live TV channels for viewers in the United States and Canada.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address, also called a hash, may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media uploads

If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data such as EXIF GPS. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

How long we retain your data

• Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically.
• For registered users, we store the personal information provided in the user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username.
• Server logs containing IP addresses are retained for no longer than 26 months.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you, excluding any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent
